Yesterday I held an amazing portrait session at Esmes Nursery’s in Newport. This was a little bit of a special shoot as not only was it the first ever portrait session for Esmes, but we were also shooting entirely in aid of ‘Project K‘ for the Nathan Timothy Foundation.
Esme’s is a family owned and run children’s day nursery that opened in 2011, and in this short time it has already been awarded ‘Educational Establishment of the Year’ at the 2012 V Awards, and had a 5 star Environmental Health rating. This mix of excellent standards matched with a team of professional, dedicated staff is helping Esme’s fast become recognised as one of the premier childcare providers in the area.
Pre-school kids portraits are always an interesting, and challenging event, but the staff had sorted everything in terms of planning and timings around lunch and nap times so everything ran super smoothly. I’d also like to thank them for getting on board with this charity photoshoot and helping to raise as much money as possible.
