I’ve been shortlisted in the ‘Uk Mountain Photo Of The Year 2014’!
I am just totally blown away! It is honestly such a super honour to have been judged by an expert panel including people like Mountaineer Alan Hinkes, the only Briton to have climbed all 14 of the world’s 8000m peaks, award winning photographer and film maker Alastair Lee and Trail photographer Tom Bailey – All individuals whose work I already greatly admire. It is just truly awesome, the stuff of dreams, well mine at least!
The judges have shortlisted their top 20 images that they believe best capture all that is amazing about our incredible UK mountains, and they have selected my image of Pen-Y-Fan in winter conditions.
The competition is now open to the public to vote online, so now I need your help to win! All you have to do is follow the link and vote for me online, you, your Mum, your Aunite, everyone, I really need you all!
I’m up against some excellent competition, but this would be a game changer for me, not just professionally, but personally too, what a blast! Below is the image in question, one of my favourite places on the planet.
Thanks a billion everyone!
